Snow covered wet pants

Having myself been on more than a few excursions as a photographer’s assistant, I’m very appreciative when there is someone else willing to fulfill this charge.

Dylan is quite capable in the role, having an extraordinary ability to lug gear despite his tiny stature. He does occasionally need help to maintain focus on the job at hand (sorry, no pun intended), but his attention can usually be restored with the simple promise of a few Timbits and an episode of SpongBob.

We took a shot out to Fort Amherst yesterday afternoon during the last few minutes of non-overcast.

That’s Angelika in the top right. She is either A. Quite happy about having trekked to the end of the trail despite the cold temperature OR B. Doing her impersonation of the star on Cabot Tower.

Not much to say here, looked great standing there, not so much in the photo.

I had a couple of hours of daylight to spare today so I wanted to give the new 8mm a outside test.
So.. like everyone else in St John’s who needed a quick photo trip… I went to Signal Hill.
Well.. at least it looked alot different through this lens!!
Also it turns out I took my 10,000th shot with my 350D.
Maybe its time for a cleaning….

I decided to do something original and headed out with the camera and the best of intentions – I was going to produce something unique. Unfortunately, I ended up at Signal Hill shooting Cabot Tower.
