Where are the new pictures?

Tuesday July 21st, 2009 @ 2:21 pm by Andreau

It seems no one wants to post new pictures. I had thought a few of the other “geeks” had a road trip or two? In the meantime I think it is time to push the last post down a spot so here is the big guy, Angus, from Sunday past. ???? ????? ??????? ???? ???? ???????

Also Living in the Fog

I also had trouble finding things to shoot. It basically came down to three shots…. macro flowers, pictures of fog, or pictures of some-guy-with-a-big-ass-lens-and-tiny-little-body.

Living in the fog

Sunday July 5th, 2009 @ 10:15 pm by Andreau

With fog rolling in the bays we visited today I was forced to look around and take pictures of things I could get close to.

Wide Angle Macro

Sunday July 5th, 2009 @ 9:12 pm by Randy

I was pleasantly surprised a few months back when a little bit of crap that we ordered from eBay arrived and worked as advertised. It’s an attachment that threads on the end of a 58mm lens, giving a wider field of view.

I also confirmed today during a quick outing with Andreau that it allows very close focusing, turning any lens with a matching thread size into a half-assed macro. The image quality is less-than-perfect, but what would you expect for ~$50.00. ????? ???? ? ??????? ??????
