Don’t go alone

We’ve posted many photos of Cape Spear to this blog… especially true this last week. In our defense however I’d wager that it’s the most photographed area in the region, second perhaps only to Cabot Tower.
I edited this photo a few days ago and quickly thought “nah” while throwing it aside. Its colours were certainly not as interesting as the others, and it’s not a pretty picture, but it had something. Still… I though… “nah”.
Somehow however, as my finger hovered over Delete during my cleanup this evening, my attention was drawn to the ocean. I’m not sure if it’s related to the recent news involving the Cougar Helicopter Crash or the Cape Spear hiker, but somehow the ocean seemed to stretch further than it did a few days ago.
I like this picture a lot. Dark and moody. There is a little post processing “glow” over the rocks on the right… clean that up and the picture would be even nicer!!
