Bring on the filters
I drive Mt. Scio Road on a weekly basis and have noticed this building almost every time. Yesterday, I stopped to take a shot.

And after all this time… why did I take a photo? Quite frankly, we’re desperate for content.
Generally it’s my belief that, if the weather is not good, it’s pointless to shoot. Usually I won’t even bother to take the camera out if there’s a lack of nice, warm light.
So, what I’ve done here is a far-too-often-used trick. I’ve taken a boring shot from a dull day… and PSed the hell out of it. Don’t get me wrong – I believe that clever photo manipulation is a skill. Nor am I suggesting that every shot that has been majorly manipulated was originally bad. What I am suggesting is that every bad shot can be helped by some heavily applied filters.
